Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Shelby Lynn Mahaffey and Michael Logan Daniels of Boise, Idaho, announce their intent to marry in a ceremony at 6 p.m., July 20 at Carmela Vineyards in Glenns Ferry, Idaho.
They are the children of Teresa Mahaffey of Great Falls, Mont., and Michael and Andrea Daniels of Palmer.
Mahaffey is a 2011 graduate of Palmer High School and is perusing a degree in social work from BSU. She is employed by Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Center.
Daniels is a 2010 graduate of Palmer High School and will complete his degree in criminal justice this fall. He currently works at Lowe’s.
The couple shares a passion for hiking, camping and all things outdoors. He proposed to her on a surprise trip to McCall, Idaho, to ride a zip line in 2012.
They reside in Boise, Idaho, with their boxer mix, Tika.
