Tomorrow morning I have my second session with personal trainer Jenni. Am I excited or dreading it? A little of both I guess. Jenni is awesome; she’s very experienced, smart and enthusiastic. I am lucky to have her assistance. So where does the dread come from? Mostly I am used to being a solo exerciser. That’s why I like running. I can listen to music, think through issues in my life, and relax. With what little I know about Jenni so far, she won’t allow me a whole lot of relaxing when we meet tomorrow morning. Of course, that is good – the goal is to work hard, right? I want to lose weight and get fit. Jenni will help me get there. I’ll keep telling myself that.
On the dieting front: 5 pounds down! The pace will slow next week, but it’s great to have that boost to help me get started!
