Byron Mallott might be running under the Democratic label, but he is running for governor to serve all Alaskans.
He is a rare bread of leader, one who overcomes division and labels and appeals to the whole of the people he seeks to work for. He has served every governor, regardless of party, for the past several decades. He served as the able mayor of both Yakutat and Juneau, the CEO of the Sealaska Corp., the Permanent Fund Corp, and ACS.
