Troopers say he became enraged after she did another man's laundry
PALMER — A felony charge was filed in Palmer District Court against a Wasilla man who allegedly smashed $1,160 worth of windows on a car owned by a woman he accused of doing another man's laundry, according to court records.
Reginald Carney, 40, has been summoned to appear in court Tuesday, April 24, for one count of second-degree criminal mischief stemming from the March 14 incident, according to court documents.
Carney reportedly told troopers he used a weight bench to break the car's windows after he became angry at the woman he claimed had washed "some other guy's clothes," charging documents stated.
Alaska State Troopers allege the front windows, both driver's-side windows, and all four headlights were damaged. Also, a 2-foot by 1-foot hole was found in the rear window, court documents stated.
