Man apprehended at Sears early Tuesday morning

WASILLA — Wasilla Police reported that James Leseman, 35, was arrested after activating an alarm at Sears.

MATCOM dispatch received a call from Sears at 5:41 a.m. on Tuesday and WPD responded with Alaska State Troopers to the store, and surround the building. Leseman was found attempting to exit and later apprehended with the assistance of WPD K9 Echo.

WPD reports that charges of felony burglary, theft, and criminal mischief are pending and further charges may accumulate as investigation continues.
