A Wasilla man is dead following an accident in Wasilla early Thursday morning.
Jeffrey Byers, 46, was pronounced dead at a Mat-Su hospital, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Byers was one of three people in a vehicle that rolled several times on Clapp Street in Wasilla, troopers said. According to AST, Byers died due to injuries he sustained after he was ejected from the vehicle.
A motor vehicle collision on Clapp Street was reported to troopers at 12:20 a.m. Thursday morning. The driver of the vehicle is in stable condition, troopers said, and a second passenger was listed in critical condition at an Anchorage area hospital.
The Palmer General Investigative Unit is investigating.
