A Wasilla man is dead following the report of a disturbance Monday night.
Tyler Rasmussen, 36, was found with multiple gunshot wounds after Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence in Wasilla at about 7 p.m. Monday, troopers said.
Rasmussen died at the scene, despite lifesaving efforts, troopers wrote in an online dispatch posted Tuesday afternoon.
"At this time, everyone involved with this incident has been contacted by Troopers. In consultation with the Alaska Department of Law, no charges have been filed nor arrests made at this time," troopers wrote in the dispatch.
The Alaska Bureau of Investigation also responded and assumed responsibility of the case, troopers said.
The investigation is ongoing.
