WASILLA – Alaska State Troopers say a fight on a balcony led to a 10-foot plunge that killed a local man Sunday afternoon.
According to a trooper press statement, Clyde Bozarth, 58, of Wasilla, was the man who fell to his death.
Troopers were called to the scene at 3:19 p.m. on Via Tranquilla Drive. They say two men were fighting and a balcony rail broke, precipitating Bozarth’s fall onto the pavement below.
Bozarth was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center and then to Alaska Regional Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
The trooper report does not name either participant in the fight, nor does it state clearly if Bozarth was a participant or a bystander.
