WASILLA — A man involved in a vehicle accident on New Year’s Eve has died.
David Bybee, 73, of Anchorage, died as a result of injuries sustained during the accident, according to a press release issued by the Wasilla Police Department Wednesday afternoon.
WPD responded to a report of a vehicle collision near Mile 2 of Knik-Goose Bay Road just after 11 p.m. Dec. 31. Two vehicles and a total of eight people were involved. One driver and five passengers were transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, and one driver and one passenger were air lifted to Anchorage. There were on citations were issued, according to WPD’s original report.
