Man-made laws not right

To the editor:

Did you as a juror know that you do not judge just the facts? You judge the spirit, motive and intent of the law and the accused. Whereas the prosecutor only represents the letter of the law,

If jurors throughout the U.S.A. and states would bring in more not guilty verdicts, then cases where man-made statutes that are defective and oppressive can go away.

Also, a jury of your peers means friends, neighbors, people you do business with, etc. Because these people are the best judges of your character, if pay your bills, how you treat them and others, etc.

Just some trivia for thought.
