To the editor:
Two weeks ago, my computer, printer and Wii were stolen from my house.
Me and my mom live alone and we saved hard to get these things because we do not have a lot of money. My grandma wrote a letter to your newspaper and someone read it and helped me get it all replaced, plus I had enough left to buy my mom over $50 of groceries.
I know there are people worse off than me and Mom, but I really did not know there were people out there who really care about people like us. I just want the man named “Greg” to know that I will never forget what he did for me and Mom. I want him to know that I will always remember that someone cared and will pray every night that God blesses him and his family.
Mom wants me to be a gentleman and I wish I could shake the hand of the man who cared enough to help us. I never met a real hero, but at least I know there are heroes in the world who care and I hope to grow up to be a man like “Greg.”
