WASILLA — A man stopped for speeding Saturday near Trunk Road on the Parks Highway was arrested after Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol determined he was wanted on two extraditable Florida warrants.
Troopers say they stopped Larry M. Huber, 28, of Wasilla for speeding a Dodge Dakota truck around 11:48 p.m., Sept. 14.
Investigation revealed Huber was wanted on active Florida warrants for “uttering a forged Instrument” and “dealing in stolen property,” and he was arrested, according to a trooper dispatch. He also was cited for open container.
Huber was placed into the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $20,000 bail.
