Now that Alaska has its first confirmed case of the new coronavirus, are you concerned or plan to do anything differently?

“Not really doing anything different. As a family that’s already been self-sufficient… we’re still going out and doing our normal activities, other than things being canceled. I don’t think it’s going to be anything major that affects us.”

Greg Scully, Palmer

“Not concerned, because more people die from H1N1… It’ more mass media hysteria freaking people out… There’s going to be more damage that way than people dying from corona.”

Amanda Lee, Big Lake

“No and no, cause I got a pretty good immune system. I think that will help me out a bit.”

Corey Wolff, Wasilla

“No, not at all. The flu kills more people annually than the coronavirus. It’s a political stunt.”

Corey Dahlberg, Wasilla
