MEADOW LAKES — Alaska State Troopers say the body of an adult male was recovered late Wednesday afternoon off Pittman Road.
The State Medical Examiner responded Feb. 12 and transported the body to Anchorage for autopsy and identification.
AST spokesperson Megan Peters said it will be at least Feb. 18 before the medical examiner can examine the body and make a final identification.
She said it’s premature to speculate regarding the identity of the deceased. Peters said that since Nov. 1, 2013, 13 adult males have been reported missing in the Mat-Su and Anchorage boroughs.
Troopers say their investigation is ongoing.
