MAT-SU — Palmer Toastmasters held its biannual awards ceremony Nov. 19.
Monika Dahlberg, David Driscoll, Lily Fox, Rachel Greenberg and Chris Parker all earned their Competent Communicator Award. They gave 10 minutes speeches, each stressing a different speech skill.
Joy Cypra, Vicki Kluever and Jan Thurlow received their Advanced Communicator Bronze pins.
Two club members won “Triple Crown” awards. Joy Cyra earned her Competent Leader Advanced Leader Bronze and the Advanced Communicator Bronze pin, all within one year. Diana Straub completed Competent Communicator, Competent Leader and Advanced Leader Bronze. This is Straub’s fourth “Triple Crown.”
Meschelle Kolb gave a toast to honor everyone’s achievements. It was a fun night for all.
