She came to Alaska as a missionary in 1946 and met her husband, David Lee, in 1951. As newlyweds, they settled on a homestead at Mile 95 Glenn Highway in 1953. Margaret devoted her life to being a wife, mother to their three children and being a good neighbor. For many years she taught children's Sunday school classes and women's Bible studies. She was an avid gardener and loved to share her garden produce. Her life exemplified commitment, resourcefulness and simplicity. Her graciousness, wit and faith in Jesus Christ remained strong.
