• Army Sgt. Mario J. Forestier has returned to the United States after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Forestier is a squad leader assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and has served in the military for seven years. The son of Jackie Cochran and stepson of Kevin Cochran of Wasilla, he also is a 2003 graduate of Wasilla High School.
