Talkeetna resident Mark Marmor died at his home on May 30, 2001. A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday, June 17, 2001, at the VFW Post in Talkeetna, at 7 p.m.
Mr. Marmor was born Dec. 30, 1961, in Frankfurt, Germany. He attended school in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed his GED, and then moved to Alaska in 1972, residing in Talkeetna until the time of his death.
He was of Jewish faith and had employed himself as an automotive mechanic. His hobbies and special interests included watching movies and working on cars. He was a huge wrestling fan.
His family said: "Mark was ready to lend a helping hand whenever anyone needed assistance."
Mr. Marmor is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, Warren and Sam; daughter, Brandy; father, David Marmor; mother, Ruth Marmor; sisters, Brenda Becker and her husband, Bobby, and Toni Johnson; niece, Mellisa, and her husband, Nate; nephew, Phillip; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements were made by Valley Funeral Home & Crematory of Wasilla.
