Mary Lou Rose, 84, passed away on April 11, 2022, at her home in Palmer, Alaska.
Mary Lou Marie Theis was born to John and Marie Theis on May 18, 1937, in the small town of Eden Valley, Minnesota. She married William (Bill) Rose on October 10, 1958. The family moved to Palmer, Alaska in 1973. Mrs. Rose served as a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed playing games and spending wonderful times with her family and friends.
Mrs. Rose was a member of the Palmer Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was devoted to the Lord and shared the love of Jesus at every opportunity.
She is survived by her children: daughter Judy Berscheid of Grey Eagle, Minnesota, sons Curtis Rose and Sam Rose, both of Palmer, Alaska, daughter Debbie Robinson of Palmer, Alaska, brother Ron Theis of Willmar, Minnesota, and sister Judy Martinson of Waite Park, Minnesota. She also has many grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her dearly. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her daughter Dorise.
This summer, in a small ceremony at the Fort Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska, Mary Lou will be buried next to her beloved husband.
