Tracy is the face and heart of our school. She is the first person our students, parents and community members see. She listens to every story, hears their concerns, is able to help mitigate any concerns, fears and/or stressors that families might have on any given day. She doesn't go home until every last child has been dropped off and picked up and she is first in every day. The relationships she builds with every family is seen in her one or two absences a year when families come in or call. They ask, "Where is Tracy? Is she okay?" Her passion, compassion and dedication to our Tanaina community is never ending. She fills in wherever needed, including but not limited to recess monitor, kitchen, custodian, principal and nurse. The pictures show her in purple, tearing up as a teacher leads her class in singing a special song just for Miss Tracy.
