Andrew found his calling in the Colony High Digital Media program where he dove head first into media production, quickly becoming the Technical Director for the Knightly News daily student news program. As technical director, Andrew is the hub for the entire TV studio during production doing the most complicated job of mixing all audio, video, and talent together. He must have solid working knowledge of all production positions and master the art of thinking on the fly through multiple layers of complexity. The Colony TV studio is an advanced facility that mirrors full production studios like KTUU or KTVA in Anchorage, setting him up as a prime candidate for professional work straight out of high school. Andrew excels in the constant problem solving required with complex systems, never afraid to ask for help or guidance, and is the backbone for the daily program.
