Ryan Moore

7th grade, Colony Middle School

Nominated by CMS Music Teacher Toby Lambert for his academic achievements, work ethic, and growth/improvement in band!

Mr. Lambert says:

Ryan is a percussionist in the Colony Middle School music department's Advanced Band. This summer he volunteered to come to school once a week for a drum set lesson to fill our second drum set position in Jazz Band. At each lesson, it was obvious that he spent time at home practicing all the material that was introduced to him. In just a nine week time span, he learned multiple drum styles that are used in Jazz literature. I am proud of his growth over the summer weeks and I just want to thank him for going beyond the call of duty to learn a new genre of music to support our Jazz Band.
