Kyera has been in the band program at Houston since middle school. Over the years she has made remarkable progress. During covid and the subsequent need to "step up our game" after covid; she has taken it upon herself to tutor and lead the underclassmen. She spends her free time practicing and is always willing to help other students with their playing or reading of music. Her dedication to music and to the school is something to be admired.
