Mrs. Klapperich says: Duane is very passionate about helping individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness. He helped start a "Fill the Tent to Help the Homeless" drive with the support of one of Tanaina's staff members, Ms. Karen McNaught. Duane feels it's very important to support people in our community who need food, shelter, and personal care items. He believes that people without homes deserve to feel loved, just like we all do. Duane is a very kind and responsible young man who adds so much to our school community! The tent at the front of Tanaina Elementary is being filled with items that will be donated to the Wasilla Homeless Committee Community Outreach. Thank you Duane and Ms. McNaught for caring about ALL individuals in our community!
