The Mat-Su CVB debuted its winter puzzle challenge, a virtual contest featuring six winter activities and locations in the Valley, and those who complete them can win one of three $50 gift cards.
The virtual jigsaw puzzles feature helicopter tours, winter tours of Matanuska Glacier, dog sledding and more. The contest mirrors a similar contest held this summer that generated more than 1,000 entries.
“We realize that due to the pandemic, people may not be able to visit and take part in some of these fun winter activities, so we decided to do the next best thing – bring those activities to the people in a fun way,” said Mat-Su CVB Marketing Manager Casey Ressler. “The response this summer was great, so we decided to bring it back for winter.”
The contest runs through Jan. 4, but the puzzles will remain online indefinitely. Prizes include $50 gift cards to Evangelo’s and Turkey Red and $50 worth of Palmer Bingles. People can access the puzzles at https://bit.ly/MatSuPuzzle
