WASILLA — The Mat-Su Home Builders Association is hosting the 42nd annual Spring Home Show at the Menard Sports Center Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24
According to Mat-Su Home Builders Executive Director Sarah Collins, there will be over 100 vendors and five different food trucks featured at the Spring Home Show. She noted that they also donated several booths to local nonprofits.
Mat-Su Home Builders holds numerous fundraisers, networking events, and community campaigns throughout the year. Collins said the Spring Home Show is their largest event and it highlights the nonprofit trade association’s dedication to safe, affordable, and energy-efficient housing in the Mat-Su Valley.
There was no Spring Home Show in 2020, but the Mat-Su Home Builders were able to return to a full public event in 2021. Collins said that she’s eager to see this year’s event unfold.
“It’s exciting and rewarding to get everyone together,” Collins said.
Admission costs $5 or three canned food items. Proceeds and food donations will go to Frontline Mission.
Children are admitted for free during the Spring Home Show and Veterans enter for free during the Sunday event.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. For more information, visit matsuhomebuilders.com
