ALASKA STATE TROOPERS
March 18 at 4:37 a.m., AST arrested 54-year-old Thomas Gariepy of Palmer following a report of a vehicle driving erratically on West Beverly Lake Road. Gariepy was charged with DUI and MICS 5 and taken to MSPT.
March 18 at 3:20 p.m., AST with PJS arrested Jeremy Thompson on an arrest warrant for MICS 2 and MICS 3. Thompson was taken to GCCC on $10,000 bail.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
March 18, AWT along with the Wildlife Investigations Unit completed a joint investigation regarding unlawful trapping in the Mat-Su Valley. AWT cited 29-year-old Ivan Sosnin of and 47-year-old Jason Parker of Wasilla for trapping without a license. Sosnin was also issued a citation for failing to seal a lynx. A lynx, cross fox, red fox and coyote were seized as evidence.
