Alaska State Troopers
On December 18, 2024, at 12:30 pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from staff at Teeland Middle School that a student at the school had made threats to conduct an active shooter event. The Alaska State Troopers responded and investigated the report and referred criminal charges to the Alaska Division of Juvenile Justice. The investigation is ongoing.
On 12/16/2024, at approximately 2200 hours, AST learned that Ethan Dvorak, 32 of Wasilla, had violated conditions of release involving a DV crime. Investigation disclosed that Dvorak had contacted the victim on several occasions while on conditions prohibiting contact. Dvorak was arrested without incident and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was held without bail.
On 12/10/2024 at approximately 0008 hours, AST received a report that a disturbance was taking place at a residence off of W Cormorant Way. The investigation revealed that Ehtan Dvorak had broken a domestic partner's cell phone and by words or other conduct recklessly placed his domestic partner's person in fear of imminent physical injury. Dvorak was arrested without incident for DV Assault 4 and Criminal Mischief, transported to Matsu Pre-trial, and held with no bail.
On 12/16/24 at approximately 2045 hours Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a bicycle for an equipment violation on E Palmdale Avenue in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the rider Teddy Vos III, 21 of Wasilla, had an active Felony warrant for Fail to Comply with Conditions of Probation OC MICS 4 and PTRP Violation x2. Additionally, Vos was currently in absconder status with Palmer Probation. Vos was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial and held without bail.
On 12/16/24 at approximately 1842 hours loss prevention at Three Bears grocery store in Big Lake reported they had Casey Johnson, 42 of Wasilla, in custody for shoplifting. Additionally, Casey had an active warrant for Fail to Appear OC DWLR, Theft 4, and had also been previously trespassed from all Three Bears locations for life. Casey was placed under arrest and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial facility for his warrant and Criminal Trespass 2. Bail was set at $250 Cash Appearance.
On 12/17/2024 at approximately 1134 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft from an address on Birch Road in Houston. Investigation is ongoing.
On 12/17/2024 at approximately 1312 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft from an address on Longview Circle in Wasilla. Investigation is ongoing.
On 12/17/24, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation Task Force Dawnbreaker contacted Jacob Perez (age 24 of Wasilla) during a child exploitation investigation. The investigation determined that Jacob Perez possessed and distributed child sexual abuse material over the application Kik. A search warrant was executed on Perez’s residence and numerous devices were seized for forensic analysis. Perez was arrested without incident on five (5) counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Perez was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility on no bail.
On 12/09/2024 at approximately 1430 hours, the Highway Interdiction K9 Team conducted a traffic stop on a Red Volkswagen Bug for an equipment violation on Williwaw Way in Wasilla. Investigation revealed a backseat passenger committed a seatbelt violation and provided a false name. It was determined the passenger was Brian Bosch, age 41 of Wasilla and had a felony arrest warrant. Bosch was ultimately placed under arrest and remanded to MAT-SU Pretrial.
