The Mat-Su Schools Foundation is offering eight student scholarships. Two scholarships are $1,000 Dr. Curtis D. Menard Memorial Scholarships and six are First Student Scholarships.
Students have until April 15 to apply for two Dr. Curtis D. Menard Memorial Scholarships, designed to encourage individuals who are first-time college students or enrolling in a vocational program, or students pursuing professional development that leads to a degree or certification.
Applications are available online at matsuschoolsfoundation.org/scholarships.html.
A MSSF scholarship committee will review application packets and a representative of MSSF will announce awards at each student’s graduation ceremony.
Mat‐Su Borough School District students have until April 15 to apply for First Student’s six, $2,000 scholarships. A minimum of two scholarships will be awarded to students receiving special education services and who have current Individual Education Plans.
