MAT-SU — Mat-Su School District officials have decided to keep local schools closed again on Wednesday, school district spokesperson Catherine Esary confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
Esary said the decision was made Tuesday at 4 p.m., and the closure includes all schools in the district.
"We've been watching the roads, and it's really the secondary road conditions," Esary said.
Esary said parents have consistantly voiced their concerns and the district opted to err on the side of caution. School activities have also been cancelled.
The district will also recognized it's two-day holiday on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday break, and schools are scheduled to open again on Monday.
