WASILLA— Mat-Su Senior Services recently announced an upcoming annual event dedicated to senior health, the Aging Healthy Walk and Mini Vendor Fair scheduled for Sept. 17.
This event will feature a variety of local food trucks, vendors, a chalk art contest, and an obstacle course to be enjoyed by families.
This event is designed to promote healthy aging and increase social interaction with the senior population across the Palmer community, according to a recent press release.
Mat-Su Senior Services works year-round to promote honor, dignity, security, and independence for local seniors to live meaningful, quality lives. Their clients include individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders, and anyone of any age on the Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver Program.
