Palmer American Legion team hosting meeting

The Palmer Pioneers Post 15 American Legion baseball team is hosting a meeting March 20 at 6:45 p.m. at Colony High. For more information, text Matt Ketchum at 907-229-8558.

Colony High searching for hockey coach

Colony High School is in search of a head coach to lead its hockey program.

Those interested are asked to have a demonstrated record of successful communication with teenage athletes, parents, teachers, community and administrators. Candidates also should have a demonstrated successful coaching of the sport at a recognized competitive level.

Those interested are asked to submit a letter of application, current resume and two letters of reference to Colony High assistant principal Tom Lincoln (tom.lincoln@matsuk12.us) or CHS activities director Kristy Johnston (kristy.johnston@matsuk12.us.). Applications are due by March 19.

Mat-Su Miners hosting annual meeting

The Mat-Su Miners is hosting its annual meeting March 28 at 6 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of MTA headquarters in Palmer. You can sign up to be a voting member prior to the meeting. There is a $25 membership fee per person. Any questions please call 745-6401.
