Valley WNBA player hosting camp

Jessica Moore — who plays in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever — is coming home to do a one-day basketball camp Dec. 20 for youth ages 8 to 18 at the AT&T Sports Center. Registration paperwork is available at AT&T Sports Center.

PAHA steak feed

The Palmer Amateur Hockey Association is hosting its sixth annual steak feed from noon to 8 p.m., Dec. 12 at the Palmer Moose Lodge, 110 S. Cobb Street near the Amoosement Park in Palmer. The dinner, which is the association’s only fund-raiser, includes a New York steak, baked potato, salad and garlic bread. All proceeds from the dinner event will go toward the association’s “Gear up for Hockey” program.

Colony basketball hosting dinner

The Colony High basketball programs are hosting their annual prime rib dinner and auction Saturday at 6 p.m. at Colony High School. Tickets are $15 for the dinner, which also features silent and live auctions. For more information, contact Tom Lincoln at 861-5571.

Ski and snowboard at Alyeska

Mat-Su Ski and Snowboard Club Inc. is sponsoring a program on alternating Saturdays beginning on Jan. 8 and 15. For $300, participants receive round-trip motorcoach transportation, lift tickets and two lessons for eight outings. Participants requiring rental equipment will be charged an additional $120. MYAC registration has begun

Those interested in participating in the MYAC basketball program this season can register at eteamz.com/MYACBasketball/ now through Dec. 1. MYAC provides a recreation program for youth in grades third through eighth. Registration fees are $85 per player. Scholarships are available, and coaches or assistant coaches can have one player fee waived.

Sports center youth programs start soon

The AT&T Sports Center Lil’ Kickers, Lil’ Hoopers and youth cheerleading winter sessions began Nov. 30. For more information about the Lil’ Kickers, see attsportscenter.com/lil-kickers-schedule.html.
