McAdams has record of service to community

To the editor;

If you look carefully at what Joe Miller repeats in his messages to voters you realize that here is a potential national leader (U.S. Senator), as well as one of three who represent the state of Alaska in Washington, D.C., whose message is nothing but a prophecy of gloom and doom. (“The U.S. Government is bankrupt. Federal programs in Alaska will end”, etc.) Any major American leader of worth in the past seven decades (since the end of the depression) has realized that they must have a positive outlook and message for the people. He or she must provide a model of leadership that shows us what to build, not what to tear down. Anyone can be a critic these days, and we hear their shrill voices every day. Joe Miller’s “death warrant” for the federal government is premature. Don’t vote for the doomsday prophet from Fairbanks.

Scott McAdams is a newcomer on the national stage, but has been working to serve the people of his community as mayor of their city and borough for some time, and for the people of the state as chair of the state’s school board association. He has a record of getting things done for the people, not corporations. Listen to McAdams and you will hear his constructive plans to build Alaska and America by and for the people. Vote McAdams.
