About Webb: Erik Webb is in his first season with the Mat-Su Miners. The 5-foot-8 right-hander is from St. Peters, Missouri.
At Central Missouri: Webb hit .410 as a junior. He was among team leaders with 100 hits and 66 runs. He also led the team with 21 home runs and 76 RBI.
With the Miners: Webb currently leads the Alaska Baseball League with a .353 batting average, and is second in the ABL with 30 RBI.
About Butler: Connor Butler is in his first season with the Mat-Su Miners. The 5-foot-11 lefthander is from Eagle, Idaho.
At Hawaii: Butler appeared in four games as a sophomore. He pitched 4 1/3 innings.
With the Miners: Butler has made eight appearances for the Miners, fanning 16 in 11 innings of work.
