Meetings canceled, schools closed today due to weather

Bad weather continues to cause problems for the Valley, though not as many as Monday. Here's a quick rundown of what's closed and what's open today as well as some notable cancelations:

- The weekly membership meeting of the Wasilla Chamber of Commerce is canceled this week.

- Mat-Su College is closed today.

- Borough Schools are closed today

- The joint meeting of the Wasilla City Council and Wasilla Planning Commission scheduled for today, has been canceled. For more information, contact the City Clerk at 373.9090, or send email to clerk@ci.wasilla.ak.us.

- Borough, city and state offices are open today in the Valley. The borough says that applies to all of its operations and that as of 11 a.m. it still planned to hold tonight's assembly meeting.
