Meetings focus on hydroelectric project

A series of technical work group meetings about the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project are Dec. 7-8 at the project office on the first floor of the Sunshine Mall in Anchorage.

The meetings are for resource agencies in particular, but other stakeholders are welcome to attend and observe. To participate telephonically, call (800) 315-6338 and enter code no. 3957.

Meetings are:

• Dec. 7, 9 a.m. to noon: Water Resources and Geomorphology Workshop.

• Dec. 7, 1to 4 p.m.: Fisheries Resources Agency Workshop.

• Dec. 8, 9 a.m. to noon: Terrestrial Resources and Geomorphology Agency Workshop.

• Dec. 8, 1- 4 p.m.: Social Resources Agency Workshop.
