With signature songs like “Wake Up Dead,” “Peace Sells,” “Symphony of Destruction” and “Dystopia,” Megadeth has been a major force in metal for more than four decades. Since forming in 1983, the band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, earned a Grammy Award and 12 additional nominations, generated billions of streams, and landed seven Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200.
The band’s catalog includes Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?, ranked #8 on Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time,” as well as the platinum Rust in Peace and the double-platinum Countdown to Extinction. More recently, Dystopia debuted in the Top 3 and won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance for its title track, while 2022’s The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! also debuted at #3 and earned a Grammy nomination for “We’ll Be Back.” The band released its 17th full-length offering, Megadeth, earlier this year.
Fans can choose between concert-only tickets or tickets including Fair admission (discounted and valid only for the day of the concert). Tickets that include Fair admission must be purchased by Thursday, August 20. Detailed ticket options and pricing are available at alaskastatefair.org. Convenience fees apply to all online ticket purchases.
