Six Valley Pathways High School students in Melinda Lewis’ Craft Survey came up with a clever way to share hope and cheer with people receiving treatment at Mat-Su Regional Urgent Care. Students Hannah Brehm, Garth Grimes, Sarah Jette, Josh Johnson, Rebekah Leverty and Rainey Sturgeon took part in a service learning project to paint messages of hope and inspiration on ceiling tiles that were then installed in the clinic. Recently, the students attended a reception at Urgent Care so they could see their artwork in its permanent place.
