Regarding the Mat-Su Miners National Anthem issue. What an unneccesary issue. No problem with someone raising a question/concern. But after what sounds a sincere, respectful and very logical explanation by the ball player for why his stance is used for our National anthem, and that no protest was intended, there was/is no need for anyone to 'dig' deeper or confront the player again. Even quizzing the ballplayer further asking about love of country and gratefulness seems unnecessary and obtrusive. The bottom line for me, is the intent and purposeful respect of overall body language....not a where a hand is necessarily placed.
