Miners auction a success

To the editor:

Thank you to all of you who took our calls, returned them and gave so graciously to our eighth annual Mat-Su Miners Dinner Auction at Evangelo’s.

The donations, volunteers, attendees and everyone who were involved with the event took it over the top! What a great evening, and the food at Evangelo’s was delicious.

To our corporate sponsors Holland America Cruise Lines, Combs Insurance and Odom Corp./Coca Cola of Alaska, we appreciate your generous sponsorships and support. We couldn’t do it without all of you and your encouragement. We can’t express enough the appreciation to all of you for everything to do for the Mat-Su Miners and our community.

Last, but definitely not least, to our auctioneer, Gary Feaster, thank you so much. He’s simply one of the most generous and giving people you’d ever want to meet.
