Miners organization says thanks

To the editor:

Now that the on-field renovations have been mostly completed, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of you that made the 2013 season happen.

Thank you to the sponsors, host families, beer/merchandise ladies, grillers, concession volunteers, ticket booth workers, 50/50 crew, Linda for all the homemade jelly for the clubhouse, Bob and Terry, the Alaska State Fair and the Dave Fuller wheelbarrow crew!

We are truly grateful for all you do!

This was an amazing season — weather, fans, volunteers, sponsors. Remember that without you we could never do all that we do.
