Miners pick new directors

To the editor:

Just a short thank you to all of you who volunteer your time, contribute and sponsor Mat-Su Miners baseball. We couldn’t do it without all your support.

Mat-Su Miners selected a new board of directors at its 2012 annual meeting March 1 at the Matanuska Telephone Association meeting facility. Thank you to MTA for the use of its conference room.

This year’s board of directors includes: President Sabrena Combs, Vice President Sandy McGeorge, Treasurer Molly Ahumada, Secretary Denise Christopher, and directors Lisa Stratton, Nikki Lee and Tonya Jones.

Board Advisory Committee includes Robert Plumley, Chuck Griffin and Alex Hills.
