Miners say thanks

To the editor:

As we start building the new concession stand and close down the field for the winter, we just want to thank the sponsors, fans, volunteers and everyone involved in making this one of the most memorable seasons ever!

From Linda Plumley making fresh jelly for the players’ PB&Js before the games, to our concession, gate and merchandise shack volunteers, to Dan Bentti helping with Miners’ grill — everyone really stepped it up this year and we are the 2010 Alaska Baseball League Champions.

Without all of you, we couldn’t do all we do.
