Miners swept by Glacier Pilots

ANCHORAGE -- The Mat-Su Miners' possibility of clinching a postseason berth went from bad to worse Sunday as the Anchorage Glacier Pilots completed a four-game sweep on the Valley club.

Mat-Su dropped to 16-21 overall and 12-18 in Alaska Baseball League play. The Miners are now seven games out of first place and four and a half games out of second place.

The Miners dropped a 3-2 decision on Sunday, their eighth straight loss.

Jason Snyder walked Mike Paulk and Dustin Realini with the bases loaded in the seventh inning to give the

Pilots a 3-1 lead.

Mat-Su dropped a 4-3 decision on Saturday and a 4-2 loss on Friday.
