Minnesota man nets 4th DUI here

TALKEETNA — A Minnesota man picked up his fourth arrest for driving under the influence Friday night.

Officers of the South Central Team of the Alaska State Troopers Bureau of Highway patrol contacted the operator of a 1990 Honda Civic on Birch Creek Drive near the Talkeetna Spur Highway for an equipment violation Sept. 7 at 11:12 p.m., troopers report.

David Peterson, 46 of Brooklyn Park, Minn., was arrested for DUI and it was subsequently discovered he had three prior convictions for DUI in Minnesota in the prior 10 years.

Peterson was remanded to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $5,000 bail and will need a court-approved, third party.
