Minor quake rocks Valley

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake shook the Valley today at 12:12 p.m. According to the United State Geological Survey, the epicenter was six miles southeast of Big Lake. The main quake was followed by minor aftershocks.

The quake was not associated with Mount Redoubt’s recent rumblings.
