WASILLA — A 13-year-old boy reported missing by his father Joshua Croghan, 34, was found Wednesday morning by Anchorage Police Department officers.
The boy, Joshua Soosuk, was expected home on the bus from Wasilla Middle School Feb. 3, but never arrived.
His father said a bus driver dropped his son off at a friend’s house after school and that student told Croghan that his son left his house about 5 p.m. that day and said he was going to walk to Anchorage to clear his head.
Croghan said police told him the boy was hiding out at his mother’s house in Anchorage. She dropped him off at his grandparents’ house in Mountain View after seeing a story on the news about her son’s disappearance. The father said law enforcement is investigating the boy’s mother’s role in his disappearance.
