PALMER — Palmer is down two starters, but the Moose continue to win.
Palmer scored its eighth straight victory with a 67-60 win over Eagle River at Eagle River High School on Friday.
Connor Looney tallied 41 points in the Moose win.
The junior drained eight three-pointers in the victory and finished 9 of 13 from the free-throw line. Looney scored 15 of Palmer’s 26 points in the fourth quarter.
Jared Straight hit a pair of three-pointers and added 15 points in the victory.
Palmer used only seven players in the game and had only eight on the bench. The Moose lost junior Brian Selmer for the season to injury. Senior Jackson Buresh is also currently out.
On Saturday, Juneau-Douglas snapped Palmer’s winning streak with a 51-40 win over the Moose.

KETCHIKAN — The Colony Knights used overtime to beat the Ketchikan Kings 67-59 on Saturday night in Ketchikan.
Hunter Eisenhower led Colony with 17 points. Tim Smith added 14, Damien Fulp had 12 and Jared Turner chipped in 10.
The victory gave the Knights a two-game road sweep. Colony beat Ketchikan 63-55 on Friday. Smith and Fulp each had 13 points in that game.
