The Palmer Moose edged rival Wasilla to win the boys team title in the Palmer Invitational track and field meet.
The Moose finished with 117.5 total points in the team standings, just 3.5 points ahead of the Warriors. Tucker Christiansen led the Palmer boys with a pair of individual wins. The senior was first in both the 200 meters and the 400 meters. Christiansen recorded a personal record time of 52.80 seconds in the 400. Brynn Miller used a mark of 6-foot-2 to win the high jump for the Palmer boys.
Dylan Jeffus led the Wasilla boys with a win in the long jump. Jeffus was also second in the long jump. Mason Reynolds finished second in both the 100 and 200. Kade Reynolds was the runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles.
The Colony boys finished fourth overall in the team standings. Christopher Spring won the 100 for the Knights and Felix Robertson was first in the triple jump.
Colony led Valley teams in the girls standings. Hanna Tennesen swept the girls throwing events, finishing first in both the shot put and discus.
Sophie Wright led the Palmer girls with a win in the 800 meters. The Moose also won the girls 400-meter relay.
